In this video we compare two pedals from Electro-Harmonix. Their 90's Russian-made Big Muff and a 2010's American-made Big Muff Pi Reissue. As you will hear, the two sound very different with the vintage pedal translating more deep, bassy tones than the modern one. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, and sound a bit different whether used live in the room or on a recording.
